How can I know if my list has finished running?

On the deals menu, click on imports, and look for the list you uploaded, then look for the progress column to look at the status. If the automation has finished running it will have a completed progress, and if not, it will show as in progress. Additionally that same table will give you a projected finish date for the automation.
